Agile Vs Scrum:

Scrum is generally a type of agile methodology. Scrum is an agile process framework. Agile software methodology have two different software development terms such as Kanban and Scrum. In simple words Agile is a major software development methodology while on the other hand Scrum is only the type of Agile process framework used for developing different software.

Difference Between Agile And Scrum

Agile:

Agile is basically a software development methodology used to develop different software. This methodology is more adaptable to changes because there is no in depth planning involved in the beginning of a project.  Agile consist of incremental and iterative development approach. In Agile framework the work is generally prioritized on the value of the business or customer. Agile implementation process consists of two approaches such as Scrum and Kanban.

Scrum:

Scrum is a very common and most popular way to implement agile software methodology. In Scrum Approach there are sprints that mainly lasts for one or two weeks in which the team deliver the software on regular basis. A scrum basically uses a software model which is bound to set of roles, responsibilities and formal meetings with customers. Scrum is more effective approach than Kanban.

Main Differences between Agile and Scrum.

Agile is the process of software development while on the other hand scrum is only a single approach used the agile process. The following are some of the major differences between agile and scrum.

  • Agile processes are used to develop different software for electronic devices while on the other hand scrum is the approach used in an agile process of developing different softwares.
  • Agile covers the overall methods and procedures for developing the software while on the other hand scrum is only a technique of the overall agile software developing process for different customers according to their need.
